My areas of specialism are:

  • Depression
  • Panic Disorder
  • Agoraphobia
  • Social Anxiety
  • Health Anxiety Disorder (Hypochondriasis)
  • Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD))
  • Obsessive Complusive Disorder (OCD)
  • Specific Phobia
  • Trichotillomania (Hair pulling or skin picking)
  • Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)
  • Stress
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Life Transitions
  • Post-natal Depression
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Perfectionism
  • Trauma*;
Single Event such as an accident or sexual assault
  • Complex Trauma such as childwood sexual abuse or multiple traumatic experiences
  • Traumatic Grief

*When working with trauma it is always necessary to assess whether it is the right time to work on the specific traumatic material. This can depend on a number of different factors such as the individual own coping strategies, support available and their current circumstances. Trauma work starts with a preparation phase which will assess and/or teach coping strategies such as grounding techniques that help the individual to developer emotional regulation to help manage potential distress.
